FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER COMPETENCIES
The National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) has identified core competencies for all nurse practitioners. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) competencies equips us with the skills and knowledge to meet the demand of the dynamic healthcare system. The immense FNP graduate program is tailored to acquire the competencies through hands on mentored clinical practice, evaluating and providing evidence based care and implementing advanced knowledge of theory and research. As an Advanced Practice Nurse I will be incorporating these core competencies into my practice.
